Another annoying factor can be light. This is to many of you who live in apartments that do not receive any shed of natural light, simply add more electrical lights. These lights should be able to make the kitchen feel much brighter. However they do not have to be always on the ceiling, instead they could be above the stove and near a couple of cupboards that do not really receive much light. As a general rule, I would not have any more than 3 separate switches for lightbulbs, this is for other people that may use the kitchen.
Aside from redesigning cabinets and countertops to get more space, appliances should all be placed in one corner of the kitchen such as the fridge, microwave, sink and stove. This way you would not need to move across the kitchen when cooking plus it organizes appliances at one corner or side of the kitchen for ease of movement plus more space.
When it comes to remodeling your kitchen some of the factors you need to take into account are counter space, storage, built-ins and pantry. Use maximum amount of counters for your kitchen floor space. And choose the color of your flooring that makes your home look lively. Plan your design starting with counters to cover as much area as possible which is not occupied by appliances. This gives you the lead the perfect kitchen in the end.
